We are delighted to share with you that on May 23rd representatives of the Fundacion Educación Universal Argentina (a group recently set up to take Universal Education programmes forward in Argentina), were able to present a document on a 16 Guidelines-inspired programme to the UN committee for the Sustainable Development Goals initiative in New York City.
This was achieved through the Argentinian chancery and introduced the 16 Guidelines as a programme helping to achieve greater awareness of and education in human values for people of all ages and backgrounds. Ceci Buzón, one of the founders of Educación Universal Argentina shares:
“This is for us a huge step towards international cooperation. Argentina has subscribed to both goal 4 of High Quality Education and goal 16 Peace and Justice which we believe match perfectly well with Universal Education’s goals.”
