Participants take turns listening without giving advice\, interrupting\, or debating\, and each speaker feels fully heard and understood. \nThe practice is practical and applicable to everyday conversations\, and when navigating difficult conversations. The Empathy Circle practice not only hones empathy but also fosters a range of valuable skills\, such as communication and conflict management skills\, making it a powerful tool for personal growth\, conflict resolutions and meaningful dialogue. \nThe Empathy Circle was developed by Edwin Rutsch\, founder and director of The Empathy Center\, based on the work of psychologist Carl Rogers. Janna began studying Tibetan Buddhism in 2005. She is a trained 16 Guidelines Level 1 & 2 and Unlocking Your Potential Facilitator\, and an Empathy Circle Facilitator and Trainer. \nMaria is an Empathy Circle Facilitator and a student of the 16 Guidelines. If you’re seeking practical tools to bring about positive change in your life\, this experiential course is for you. \nYou’ll explore the 16 Guidelines framework to deepen your experience in mindfulness and resilience\, as an embodied practice. DESCRIPTION:About the Sessions\nJoin a wonderful team of facilitators  for a series of Meditations and meaningful discussions based on the 16 Guidelines for Life\, an ethics and resilience program to build inner strength organized by Jamyang Buddhist  Centre in Leeds (UK). \nThis series is structured into 1 hour  sessions and is offered Wednesdays 7:00-8:00pm GMT (online). \nWhy joining\nAre you keen to work on your well-being and want to connect with others trying to make their life a little better for themselves and those around them?  \nEach hour-long gathering begins with a soothing meditation to calm your mind\, followed by an inspiring discussion on a core human value\, like patience for example\, that enriches your everyday life. Esa es la razón por la que\, si incluso unos pocos individuos simplemente intentan crear paz mental y felicidad en sí mismos y actúan responsable y bondadosamente con los demás\, tendrán una influencia positiva en su comunidad“ \n-Su Santidad el Dalai Lama- \nSobre este Taller\n¿Qué son las 16 Actitudes? ¿Cómo nos pueden ayudar en nuestra vida? ¿Cómo podemos mejorar nuestro interior con ellas? \nCuando hablamos de las 16 Actitudes\, hablamos de cómo funciona nuestra mente en nuestro día a día\, hablamos de cómo pensamos y reflexionamos\, cómo actuamos\, cómo nos relacionamos… y sobre todo\, de cómo le damos sentido a nuestra existencia. \nLas 16 Actitudes son pautas sencillas\, inspiradas por Su Santidad el Dalai Lama; son la clave para estar mejor y relacionarnos mejor con nuestro interior y nuestro entorno. Conoció las enseñanzas budistas cuando cumplió 30 años y durante muchos años intentó transmitir a los niños lo que aprendía de sus maestros. Actualmente coordina el grupo de Educación Universal en Madrid. Ella dice que las 16 Actitudes son: Un viaje al interior\, basado en valores universales del ser humano\, más allá de toda religión\, país\, cultura o frontera.
