SUMMARY:Facilitator Skills Training Module 2: Practicing - Putting Skills into Practice
DESCRIPTION:Overview of the Facilitation Skills Training Pathway\nThis training programme is designed to strengthen your skills and impact as a group facilitator. \nWhether you’re just beginning to lead sessions or exploring how to enhance your practice\, it will support you in building the confidence and capability to guide meaningful\, inclusive\, and safe group experiences. \nThe online training is delivered in three modules that build on one another\, while each module can also stand alone as a complete and self-contained learning experience. \nFacilitator Skills Training Module 2: Practicing – Putting Skills into Practice\nThis two-hour online practice lab deepens the eight core facilitation skills through application. The focus is on the shift from knowing what to do\, to knowing how to be as a facilitator if situations become complex\, emotional\, or unpredictable. \nWhile Module 1 focused on awareness\, ethics\, core tools and recognizing what good facilitation looks like\, Module 2 is about practicing those skills in challenging scenarios. We explore making sound judgment calls\, working with presence and intuition and adapting skillfully when things are uncertain or under pressure \nThrough reflection\, demonstration\, and peer learning\, you will:\n• Strengthen your ability to facilitate from embodiment\, not just technique\n• Build adaptive facilitation skills to respond wisely to unpredictability\, emotion\, group dynamics\, and conflict\n• Practice ethical decision-making in complex situations\, where there is no perfect response\n• Develop confidence in their authentic facilitation style during challenging moments\n• Be able to recognise and facilitate progress\, and to nurture momentum- for a group and for themselves \nSchedule\nThe training will be offered on 2 different time zones to accommodate all those who are interested: \n\nPM session: 19 October 2026 at 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm BST\, check your time here\nAM session: 20 October 2026 at 8:00 am to 10.00 am BST\, check your time zone here\n\nWho is this training for:\nThis training is for Facilitators\, educators\, meditation leaders and anyone leading group discussions or activities. \nRegistration:\nTo register\, please fill in this form  \nOnce you register you will receive the Zoom link and all the information you will need in order attend. \nIf you have any questions\, please contact info@compassionandwisdom.org \nWhat Happens after the training?\nParticipants are invited to attend Module 3 of the Facilitation Skills Training where you will explore embodied facilitation\, intentional facilitation moves and working with complexity. Dates TBC \nGenerosity\nIn a spirit of generosity this training is offered on a donate what you can basis\, with a suggested donation of £25. SUMMARY:A Mindful Heart - Sunday in person Community Meditations

SUMMARY:A Mindful Heart - Sunday in person Community Meditations
DESCRIPTION:About the Sessions\nJoin a wonderful team of facilitators  for a series of Meditations and meaningful discussions organized by Jamyang Buddhist  Centre in Leeds (UK). \nThis series is structured into 1 hour  sessions and is offered on Sundays at 10:30 am GMT. \nFrom September 2026 to February 2027 the Sunday community meditations will be focusing on ‘A Mindful Heart’. \nInspired by the Creating Compassionate Cultures program (“CCC”) by Pam Cayton\, and developed by the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom. Grounded in three core pathways of learning: Knowledge\, Strength\, and Compassion. These pathways guide you towards a happier\, more meaningful life by fostering inner growth and a warmer connection with others. \nDesigned to help you develop a deeper understanding of how the mind works. SUMMARY:Prendre Soin de Soi\, Prendre Soin des Autres
2026\, 17:15 \nFacilitatrice\nMabel Odessey \n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:16A Adolescents - Voyage Vers Soi\, Voyage Vers Les Autres
