DESCRIPTION:Life and death are not separate—they are deeply intertwined. What nourishes one inevitably supports the other. \nAbout the retreat\n\n\n\nA retreat to explore and strengthen the inner dimension that characterizes us as human beings\, recognizing that life and death are deeply connected. We will learn to recognize this fundamental dimension\, to cultivate it and integrate it as a source of serenity\, clarity\, and acceptance\, both in life and at its end. \nIt is designed using the approach and methodology of Universal Education\, integrating diverse spiritual perspectives with experiences from palliative care\, psychology\, and science. \nDuring the retreat\, we will maintain silence outside of the sessions\, and we recommend disconnecting from social media to fully immerse ourselves in this experience of calm\, reflection\, and inner discovery. \nWhy this Retreat?\nExperience shows us time and again that\, especially when death approaches\, we need to be aware of our values\, of what gives us meaning and offers us true support. This also happens in everyday life when we face significant challenges\, showing us how these two dimensions\, life and death\, have much in common. \nThese are aspects of the spiritual dimension within us\, since we are not only physical\, emotional\, and psychic entities\, but we are also part of a much broader and often mysterious context. \nThe purpose of this retreat is to explore\, recognize\, and learn to trust this fundamental dimension that characterizes us as human beings and that we often unconsciously long for. Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche in Italy. He lived as an ordained monk for seven years\, studying at Nalanda Monastery in France\, as well as in India and Nepal. \nFor the past 22 years\, he has worked as a palliative care nurse at Christophorus Hospiz in Munich\, Germany. For the last 15 years\, he has been leading workshops and retreats on the topic “Confronting Death\, Finding Meaning in Life.” \nHe is an accredited 16 Guidelines facilitator and collaborates with Universal Education – FDCW (Foundation for the Development of Compassion and Wisdom).
