About the Course
We will explore embodied mindfulness and universal ethical values in this Level 1 of the 16 Guidelines for Life Program developed by the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom (FDCW). The program offers a simple yet profound framework for reflecting on how we think, act, relate to others, and find meaning. Through mindfulness, self-inquiry, and ethical reflection, we will gain tools to foster well-being, purpose, and inner strength.
Who Should Attend?
This course welcomes participants of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking practical tools for meaningful change in their life, home, relationships, community or workplace.

Dates and Bookings
The course starts on the 4th April, we will meet Saturday’s from 14:00 to 16:30 local time, for 8 weeks on the following dates: 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th April and 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th May. (Dates could change).

The course is free of charge. We kindly request you to attend at least 90% of the sessions and be an active participant. This will enrich your learning experience and contribute to the stability of the group. Besides that you will receive the completion certificate. With the certificate you can continue the 16 Guidelines journey with other courses.
Facilitator
Ven Thubten Jamyang -Ven Jamyang is a registered 16G level 1&2 facilitator; a psychologist, a carer and a resident monk at Nalanda Monastery in France, he is often engaged in completing Buddhist Philosophy studies. He is interested in bringing the 16 Guidelines to his monastery, children and youth, palliative care and carers and has participated in numerous Universal Education courses.
