Argentina National Group launches 16G inspired programme

16 Guidelines workshop in Mexico for teachers.

Earlier this summer the local group in Mexico led a 16 Guidelines workshop for teachers at the FPMT Comunidad Educativa la Tierra in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Read the report from Martha C. De Alba on the success and feedback they received.

The owners of the school first had contact with the 16G back in 2008, when Dekyi Lee delivered the first course in Aguascalientes. At that time, they didn´t have a school yet, but they felt they had to do something with the Guidelines. This is why they were very enthusiastic to have 16 Guidelines at their school.

Nineteen people attended; most of them were teachers in the same school. Some were psychologists and one of them was a Tai Chi teacher. All of them were very enthusiastic about the course. And they participated very actively.

We received some great feedback from hearing the workshop was “enriching and challenging!” and “much more than what I had expected” to one participant sharing that they were able to “connect with their emotions”. Most participants told us the workshop was “very motivating and very practical.”

What is great is that they are going to use the 16 Guidelines in the school in a regular way. They are already in contact with Ale Almada from the national group in Argentina, to be able to do it. Their community project will be the implementation of the 16G in their school.
